1. You work in many luxury venues, what sets Turnberry apart creatively when it comes to florals and styling?
   
   I always say, "there is no Ballroom, like the Trump Turnberry ballroom”. When designing the decor for weddings or celebrations at Turnberry, I get to push my creative boundaries, drawing inspiration from the beauty of the room, the timeless elegance, extravagant chandeliers, and fabulous high ceilings. It's the perfect canvas for our signature large-scale installations; the space gives us the ability to create unique transformative decor experiences.
   
   
2. How do you ensure large-scale designs still feel personal and intimate in grand spaces like Turnberry’s ballroom?
   
   At the very beginning, when I work on floor plans my aim is to make the event full of atmosphere. At Jordana, we are known for blending large scale impact pieces with intimate, detail- rich accents. It's so important to me that our events feel luxurious and deeply personal.
   
   I design with emotion in mind, every floral installation, every candlelit table decor is curated to evoke feeling and connection. I believe that true luxury is not just seen. All senses must be touched, there's the sight - capturing a beautiful unique design. Scent, so we use the highest quality of florals with fabulous fragrance.
   
   Sound, the entertainment plays an important factor in building the atmosphere. The touch, to feel the fresh florals, luxurious linens, personalised details. And of course, the taste, mouthwatering dishes presented beautifully. Creating a personal experience is turning a celebration truly into an immersive experience where every detail tells a story, and every element is perfection.
   
   
3. What’s your approach when a couple doesn’t have a clear vision yet? How do you help draw out their style and story?
   
   I love it when clients come to us without a vision, in fact, most do! It gives us the freedom to think outside the box, to design something completely unique. I start with meaningful conversations, most importantly asking what energy they want their day to have. From there I guide them with visuals, mood boards, textures, and samples, it's as process and we work together to ensure every detail is considered and executed to perfection.
   
   

In a setting as iconic as Trump Turnberry, this process is even more exciting, working with the grandeur of the space. Our aim is to always exceed our clients' expectations, resulting in a wedding that feels personal, elevated, and entirely unforgettable.

Turnberry has such a timeless atmosphere; how does the setting influence the bridal looks you create here?

Turnberry’s elegance and sweeping coastal views naturally inspire a classic, refined approach to bridal styling. I often find the venue calls for hairstyles that are romantic and soft (styles that won’t date in photographs.) Whether it’s a low chignon with a vintage accessory or loose waves that move beautifully in the sea breeze, the setting always lends itself to graceful, polished looks that feel effortlessly special. I love creating styles with my bride’s priorities in mind and will often be on hand to change a daytime up-style to a second nighttime look (perfect for Scottish ceilidh dancing.)

What are some subtle, elegant ways you’ve helped brides add a Scottish twist to their wedding hairstyle?

A Scottish influence can be beautifully understated. I’ve used delicate thistle-inspired hairpins, or incorporated small, heirloom brooches passed down through families. It’s all about personalising the style in a way that nods to heritage without overpowering the overall look.
It's not a hair tip, but I would also always recommend the bride gets a piper – it’s so Scottish and always seems to evoke such emotion. A perfect sign it’s almost time to be married!

You see brides in a very personal, quiet moment, what’s one thing they often feel nervous about, and how do you help them feel at ease?

“Many brides worry about how everything will come together (especially their hair lasting the full day.) I reassure them with calm confidence and plenty of preparation. We’ve done trials, we’ve talked through the details, and on the day, I create a relaxed, supportive space. Those last few moments before her entrance, placing the veil and then watching her leaving the suite to come down the grand staircase – those are the most special to me.

1. You’ve seen many couples tie the knot here, what moment in the day tends to take everyone’s breath away?
   
   There’s a moment, just as the music begins and the doors open, that seems to stop time. The ceremony is about to begin, and as the bride and her party make their entrance, you can feel the collective intake of breath from the guests.
   
   It doesn’t matter how many weddings someone’s been to, this moment, framed by our surroundings and the emotion of the day, all lands at once. It’s a beautiful pause before the celebration begins.
   
   
2. Trump Turnberry is a seamlessly orchestrated experience when it comes to weddings. What’s one thing people don’t realise you handle behind the scenes?
   
   One thing couples often don’t see (but absolutely feel) is the behind-the-scenes magic of our coordination. From managing timings with suppliers to syncing every detail with our in-house teams, we’re constantly fine-tuning the day so that everything flows effortlessly. Our role is to take the stress away from the couple so they can be fully present, knowing that every candle is lit, every chair is in place, and every moment is right on cue.
   
   
3. What’s a standout memory of a wedding that really captured what Trump Turnberry is all about?
   
   There was a wedding where the couple transformed the Ballroom into a dreamscape - a water-like aisle glimmered beneath their feet, and guests dined under a ceiling of floating florals. The attention to detail was breath-taking. It was pure Turnberry: elegant, imaginative, and unforgettable. That day captured everything we strive for: creating a space where every love story feels one-of-a-kind.
